The eHandS health and safety software package uses the latest ASP.NET web technology from Microsoft, supported by the industry standard Microsoft SQL Server database to deliver a cost effective, powerful and flexible health and safety software application.
Using web technology means that you can use either your intranet or the internet to access your health and safety software. It also means that there is no need for any software to be loaded onto client PCs other than Internet Explorer. All your data can be accessed from anywhere in your organisation.
Using SQL Server means that you can be assured that your health and safety software has the power, reliability, integrity and security you would expect from a leading industrial database, with its extensive storage, backup and reporting facilities.
All activity in the eHandS system is via an encrypted login and an audit trail is created against all significant actions. Three failed attempts at logging in suspends the user account and there is a configurable inactivity timeout.
The eHandS system makes use of SQL Server Reporting Services to provide crisp A4 landscape reports on your health and safety data. Reports can be run for different reporting periods, can be customised with your own logo and can either be printed direct to a configured printer or exported to PDF or Microsoft Excel.
The eHandS system makes use of the Ajax Extensions for Microsoft .NET to ensure that data requests are handled in the most efficient manner possible. The use of this technology means that large list, susch as the list of users can be filtered quickly and simply to only show the records of particular interest.
